As of 13/9/21, the Pfizer vaccine is now available to ALL individuals aged 12 and over. AstraZeneca can still be provided for those aged 18 and up, and for those requiring their second dose. You can read more on the SA Health FAQ page.

Glenunga Medical Centre is currently receiving an enormous amount of phone calls. Strategies have been put in place to manage the high volume of calls, however if you experience difficulty getting through to us to book an appointment, we sincerely apologise and request that our online booking system be used instead.
The team at Glenunga Medical Centre remains committed to providing our patients with the best possible care and advice in these uncertain times. However, we must make sure the health, wellbeing and safety of everyone is at the forefront during this critical time.
If an in-person consult/visit is deemed essential, we ask that you please refrain from attending if:
you are a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19,
have been directed to isolate,
have been to locations mentioned by SA Health,
you are currently waiting for COVID-19 test results, or
you are experiencing COVID related symptoms such as fever, cough, cold, sore throat.
If any of the above apply, please call us up to arrange an alternative measure that best suits your circumstances, and to make sure you get the best care you need for your health condition. Our staff will be more than happy to assist you.

On March 22nd we welcomed Premier Steven Marshall and Deputy Chief Public Health Officer Dr Emily Kirkpatrick for the launch of the COVID-19 vaccination rollout Phase 1b, right here at Glenunga Medical Centre.
On May 17th we welcomed Health Minister Stephen Wade and Deputy Chief Public Health Officer Dr Emily Kirkpatrick to Glenunga Medical Centre to announce the COVID-19 vaccination rollout Phase 2a broadening out to GP networks. South Australians over the age of 50 will now be able to receive their vaccinations at their local GP or another GP provider.
