Upcoming Fee Changes

From 1 July 2022 we will be implementing a new fee structure for Glenunga Medical Centre:

Bulk billing will be provided for GP consults from Monday to Friday.

On weekends, GP consults will attract a gap fee. The gap will be $25 for Level A (brief) or Level B (standard) length consults, $40 for Level C (long) and $50 for Level D (prolonged) consults.

Charges may be applicable for other services such as dressings, minor surgeries and procedures. Please speak to your GP if you require clarification.

The above fee structure will apply for both face-to-face and telehealth consults.

Phone Call Delays

Glenunga Medical Centre is currently receiving an enormous amount of phone calls. Strategies have been put in place to manage the high volume of calls, however if you experience difficulty getting through to us to book an appointment, we sincerely apologise and request that our online booking system be used instead.

Glenunga Medical Centre wishes all our patients a happy and healthy Easter. Please note, we will be closed Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday (15/4/22 – 18/4/22)

On March 22nd we welcomed Premier Steven Marshall and Deputy Chief Public Health Officer Dr Emily Kirkpatrick for the launch of the COVID-19 vaccination rollout Phase 1b, right here at Glenunga Medical Centre.

COVID-19 Vaccination Phase 2A Launch at Glenunga Medical Centre

On May 17th we welcomed Health Minister Stephen Wade and Deputy Chief Public Health Officer Dr Emily Kirkpatrick to Glenunga Medical Centre to announce the COVID-19 vaccination rollout Phase 2a broadening out to GP networks. South Australians over the age of 50 will now be able to receive their vaccinations at their local GP or another GP provider.
