COVID-19 Update
Under the new SA Health Direction, it is mandatory to wear a surgical mask (not cloth mask) upon entry and use our COVID Safe Check in for contact tracing. If you have been to places reported by SA Health as having a COVID outbreak or in contact with a suspected case, please book a teleheath consult instead.
The team at Glenunga Medical Centre remains committed to providing our patients with the best possible care and advice in these uncertain times. However, we must make sure the health, wellbeing and safety of everyone is at the forefront during this critical time.
If an in-person consult/visit is deemed essential, we ask that you please refrain from attending if:
- you are a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19,
- have been directed to isolate,
- have been to locations mentioned by SA Health,
- you are currently waiting for COVID-19 test results, or
- you are experiencing COVID related symptoms such as fever, cough, cold, sore throat.
If any of the above apply, please call us up to arrange an alternative measure that best suits your circumstances, and to make sure you get the best care you need for your health condition. Our staff will be more than happy to assist you.
Face to Face Consultations
We are now offering both telephone and in-person consultations. However, if you have any flu-like symptoms you must only book a telephone consultation. If in doubt, please phone our friendly reception staff on (08) 8338 5885.
Flu vaccinations
Flu vaccinations are now available. We have a low-contact flu vaccination clinic set up. Bookings can be made online. Click here and when prompted, select phone consultation. Your doctor will make arrangements with you to have your vaccination administered at the clinic.
